Thanks Jon.
I`m going in tomorrow morning and will be in bed for two days not allowed to get up at all for anything. But am hoping the treatment works so I can at least be more mobile again and that will make the rest of me feel better. Wink

Would it be possible for someone to record the Paul Michaels BBC Radio Lancashire broadcast on Thursday afternoon.
Intenet Link;

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p006tz8w

As his pupil I'm sure Paul will mention Jon as well as singing a few songs,  expect these be popular music from the 1960s onwards rather than classical though. (I don't think Green Door would qualify as classical somehow) Undecided

Thanks, Alf.

Hi all,

I hope you are all well; I had a wonderful few days in the North of the Country - it was a lovely way to relax and my friends, Kerry and I had a great time, especially watching the sunset whilst relaxing in a hot-tub, now that was pretty special!

Indeed, on BBC Radio Lancs today from 2:15pm, Paul will be performing his "Intimate Afternoon" entertainment live in our Radio Theatre with a few songs no doubt airing on John Gillmore's show as well as an interview - I'll be there with him for moral support so if you are about then do tune in, or listen again via the i-player via:
http://bbc.co.uk/lancashire

I'll pop in again soon, but in the mean time my love and best wishes to you all as always.

Hi all,

I hope you're all well; just dropping by after a hectic weekend; the Paul Michaels gig was a great success - quite an unusual experience for me as Jenny and I were performing which was great fun, and we sang some new material which went down very well, but at the same time, as well as always looking from my teacher's perspective at Jenny's development, which I have to say is fantastic at the mo, with Paul also being a student, I found myself quite nervous for him throughout the evening too, but he didn't let me or the audience down as he sang well - I have to say though, with the incredibly tight pants he chose to wear, I was amazed he could sing at all!

Also, just to give you a heads up, I will be on BBC Radio Lancashire on thursday at 1pm (UK) talking about my life with Coeliacs - the disease that affects so many and continues to be a mystery to so many - I've also managed to get an expert from Coeliacs UK, our main support group to chat to us too, so if you're about then do tune in!

Almost finished final negotiations for our first Prom event of 2010 here in Manchester - watch this space for more details but it is all looking good for July 24th.

Well, the studio beckons for work, so have a great week and I'll speak to you all soon; and yes, another year older. YIKES!
